Summit Center is a new green space, office, and retail center built to provide the people of West Texas a place to gather and enjoy good food, fun, and fellowship. When complete, it will span 20-acres and consist of a four-acre park surrounded by office space, retail shops, and restaurants.
Summit Center had a logo, but needed a brand and website for the new development. Because the project won’t be completed until 2024, they wanted to have 3 phases for the site: Inform, Leasing, Full Launch.
We worked with Summit Center to develop a plan and mockups for each website phase to achieve their goals. First, we worked together to create a brand that would represent the park’s mission of being a welcoming and fun green space for all ages. Using the existing logo and current site plans as a guide, Falkon presented multiple moodboards with various themes and color schemes for the Summit Center team to choose from. The winner was a natural palette that used organic shapes pulled from the aerial site map as a background pattern. We also used a fun handwritten script typeface to give an organic feel to the text.
Then we got to work on mockups showcasing the new brand and tons of beautiful renderings to get people excited!
For the admin portal, we focused on keeping it simple and extremely user friendly by incorporating minimal navigation to allow them access to anywhere within 2 clicks. From within the portal, they can manage lease requests, space descriptions and photos, lease agreements, users, and view any messages sent to them from the site.
The Summit Center website is currently in Phase 3 development, which will bring a whole new set of fun features once Summit Center is further along in development. Stay tuned!
